The “Brexit delayed” Finance Bill 2016 finally received Royal Ascent on 15 September with, quite coincidentally, an announcement at the same time that the draft clauses for Finance Bill 2017 will be issued on 5 December next. Brexit notwithstanding, the cycle of fiscal change continues inexorably.
